I agree about Doctor Who! you put it into words perfectly. the relationships are so static, you can’t even hope for change. I also can’t ship the Doctor with anyone. he just seems asexual to me.

like seriously if there’s anything i hate, like really fucking hate, it’s the doctor who pairings and how they’re presented on the show. even though i hate buffy/spike with a burning passion that consumes my soul (for reasons you will find out when you’re done with the show and i can finally rant about it) it never made me hate the episodes they’re together in. amy/rory and eleven/river seriously like ruin an otherwise good episode. 

oh also i’m adding a fourth OTP for the last question and that is jack/kate from LOST because i totally forgot about LOST.
