B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind

hmmmmmm it never occurred to me to ship buffy/faith until i saw someone shipping the heck out of it on tumblr, and now i’m kind of in love with that idea. not like ~for serious~ but i think it’s fun and makes sort of sense and is sexy. also annie/abed on community. someone i follow on tumblr is loving that pairing and i never thought about it really before, but i’m considering adding it to my fleet, it’ll depend on how the show does when it comes back in march. 

C - A pairing you have never liked and probably never will

ugh how many of these do i have? 

• buffy/spike (i sort of liked this ship in parts of season 5, but then NO)
• buffy/riley (get DEAD riley you are so boring. like people thought angel was boring but how do you even compare angel to riley omg snoozefest) 
• xander/anya (girl you can do so much better.)
• willow/tara (i don’t hate this ship by any means, i just don’t really get it. tara kind of has no personality beyond being shy and into willow, and that’s not enough to make me like her more than oz, sorry, show.)
• rory/amy
• the doctor/river song
• snape/lily 
• any non-canon ship in harry potter
• (spoilers-ish? from angel the series, keeping it to myself because i don’t know if you care about ships on angel? but basically every pairing in that show is like…y u do dis)

• i haven’t watched any more of merlin (i will soon!!) but i’m positive i’m going to take issue with a lot of ships on there because if they’re not merlin/arthur i don’t care

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t

seriously, the doctor who ones. like of any unpopular opinion regarding a show i’ve ever had, those are the hardest to have and still enjoy the show regardless. because the show focuses so much of its energy on those ships, and unlike other fandoms, there’s no break up/make up to keep it fresh, it’s just like these people are together, and if you don’t ship it, we’re going to make your life awful until we get new companions. 

J - Name a fandom you didn’t care/think about until you saw it all over tumblr

sherlock! it’s not that i didn’t care, but i didn’t have any plans to watch it until after season 1 was done airing and it was suddenly all over my dash getting the highest praise possible. and then i watched it and loved it. also terminator: the sarah connor chronicles and dollhouse. no plans to watch tscc and dollhouse was originally very low on my list, but tumblr changed that. 

Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why

eleven/amy because it’ll never happen and i’ve lost hope. that’s where the show should’ve gone, and i will preach it until my lungs bleed, but it’s no fun anymore because the canon made it impossible. erin/andy on the office, i just don’t care about seeing them together anymore. derek/meredith on grey’s anatomy, because their characters are totally lifeless and unrecognizable from their season 1-5ish counterparts and all they do is fight now.

most of my ships are hetero, but i do ship sherlock/watson, merlin/arthur, and (now, sort of mildly) buffy/faith
